A few minutes’ walk from London Victoria station and only 10 minutes’ walk from Buckingham Palace.

Belgravia takes its name from one of the Duke of Wesminster’s subsidiary titles, Viscount Begrave. The area dates back to
17th Century when once Belgravia was a marshland. Today Belgravia is characterised by grande terraces of cream stucco houses,
and has a number of garden squares, the largest being the nearby Eaton Square.

 

 

The neighbourhood of Belgravia
has its own shopping areas with the nearby Elizabeth Street, Pimlico Road and Motcomb Street which offers boutique and varied shopping.

UNI is also nearby to the theatres of the Apollo Victoria and the legendary Victoria Palace Theatre.

Our neighbourhood is composed of more than 300 elegant boutiques, offering everything from sumptuous interior design, couture hats, dog’s and cat outfitters to comfortable neighbouring accommodation at Tophams Hotel. Nearby streets such as Elizabeth Street with its bustling shopping to the pre-eminent Design district of Pimlico Road or Sloane Street’s luxury jewellery shops will keep you entertained before and after the sumptuous food at UNI.

LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

We are just a stroll away from Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace with its varied exhibitions from the Royal Collection. In the summer, the Palace opens its doors during the annual summer opening between July and September. You can also visit the nearby St James’s Park which includes The Mall and Horse Guards Parade and is at the heart of ceremonial London, providing the setting for spectacular pageants including the annual Trooping the Colour.

LOCAL THEATRES

The famous Apollo Victoria Theatre features Wicked, which opened in London in 2006, Wicked has achieved tremendous success, wowing audiences and critics alike with the tale of two witches. In 2010 it was awarded the Most Popular Show and 2015 This Morning Audience Award. Victoria Palace Theatre has been refurbished and was reopened in October 2017 bringing Hamilton: An American Musical to London. Hamilton is a sung-through musical about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, with music, lyrics and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The show, inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow, achieved both critical acclaim and box office success across the US.
